Gentleness
The invitation in today’s Scripture, words which may be very familiar, is to respond to Jesus’ gentle invitation and come just as you are, with whatever burdens, or weariness you may be experiencing, to Jesus. You may like to ponder on how the gentleness of Jesus showed itself. After all, he could be quite confrontational and divisive when he felt it appropriate.
