Reflection
Judas, knew very well he had agreed to give Jesus up to the High Priest’s soldiers, yet he still presents an innocent face to Jesus at the Last Supper, “It isn’t me is it Rabbi?”
Thirty pieces of silver – money is a great tempter.
Have I ever followed the wrong vocation, betrayed my values, betrayed another, for money.
If I haven’t, thank God.
If I have, there is always time to repent and, as far as it is in my power, amend my ways.

Scripture
Matthew 26:20-25 WEB
Now when evening had come, he was reclining at the table with the twelve disciples.
As they were eating, he said, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.
They were exceedingly sorrowful, and each began to ask him, “It isn’t me, is it, Lord?”
He answered, “He who dipped his hand with me in the dish will betray me.
The Son of Man goes even as it is written of him,
but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed!
It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
Judas, who betrayed him, answered, “It isn’t me, is it, Rabbi?”
Jesus said to him, “You said it.”
Conversation: Talk to Jesus in your own words as a friend
Final Prayer: End with a formal prayer such as the Lord’s Prayer/Our Father.
Today’s Music
God of Mercy and Compassion: sung by Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, written Edmund Vaughan
Lyrics
God of mercy and compassion,
Look with pity upon me.
Father, let me call Thee Father,
’Tis Thy child returns to Thee.
Refrain: Jesus, Lord, I ask for mercy;
Let me not implore in vain;
All my sins—I now detest them, ~
Never will I sin again.
By my sins I have deserved
Death and endless misery;
Hell, with all its pains and torments,
And for all eternity.
Refrain:
By my sins I have abandoned
Right and claim to Heav’n above,
Where the saints rejoice forever,
In a boundless sea of love.
Refrain:
See our Saviour, bleeding, dying,
On the cross of Calvary;
To that cross my sins have nailed Him,
Yet He bleeds and dies for me.
Refrain:
